Full t
ime and Part Time Line Cook

Essential responsibilities:
Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours.
Maintain accurate food inventories.
Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures.
Rotate stock items as per established procedures.
Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts.
Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift.
 
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required.
Minimum 1+years’ experience as a Cook in the restaurant industry.
Able to read and follow standardized recipes.
Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere.
ServeSafe Certification preferred.
 
Expectations:
Must have a neat, clean and professional appearance.
Must be able to stand/walk for at least 8 hours.
Must be able to bend, stoop and kneel.
Must be well organized and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language.
Must be available on weekends, holidays and afternoon shifts.
 
Compensation based on experience.
No calls or walk-in’s.

 

Waitstaff

Requirements:

-Servers must be responsible for table setup and food delivery.
-Staff must communicate with guests and coworkers in a professional manner

Job Duties:

  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele
  • Clean the tables and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed
  • Other duties as requested (Side work)

Pay Frequency:

  • Semi-Monthly

Tasting Room Wine Associate 

 QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Warm, friendly, outgoing, professional that is reliable and trustworthy 
  • Ability and desire to become knowledgeable about our wines and grape growing general processes
  • Proficient computer skills 
  • Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work with enthusiasm with changing priorities  
  • Must be able to remain standing and actively working for up to 10 hours with limited breaks 
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age 
  • Two years minimum winery experience 
  • Must be TABC certified (will provide) 
  • Must have Food Handlers certificate (will provide) 
  • Sales experience is a plus

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to)   

  • Conducting wine tastings 
  • Educate, entertain, promote our wines and gifts 
  • Create a memorable experience for the guests 
  • Provide general tourist information 
  • Maintenance of bar 
  • Washing of glasses 
  • Organizing supplies 
  • Cleaning 
  • Outside and After Hours Events 
  • Represent winery at outside functions as needed 
  • Assist with special events as needed 
  • Customer Safety 
  • Know when and how to handle a customer who has had too much to drink (covered in training) 
  • Tasting Room Upkeep 
  • Maintain wine inventory on floor 
  • Assist with maintaining non-wine merchandise inventory of floor 
  • Stocking 
  • Tidying gift items and retail items
  • Cleanup during downtime 
  • End of day 
  • HOURS 
  • Part time, Seasonal 
  • Tasting Room Servers need to be available to work some but not all holiday long weekends (Friday – Monday) and Special Events.
